Shipping and Returns Policy

This Shipping and Returns Policy applies to all orders placed with GB Custom Parts Oy (Y-tunnus 3604203-4, registered address: Ylätjoentie 7, 50770 Korpikoski, Finland).

Shipping

  • We ship worldwide from Finland using reliable carriers (e.g., DHL, UPS, Posti, or equivalents).
  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary:
    • Within Finland and EU: typically 3–10 business days.
    • Outside EU: typically 7–21 business days (or longer to remote areas).
  • Custom or made-to-order items may have longer production and shipping times (up to 4–6 weeks). We will inform you of the expected timeline at the time of order confirmation.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and selected shipping method. They are non-refundable unless the product is faulty or we make an error in the order.
  • Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon shipment (when the goods are handed over to the carrier).
  • For international orders outside the EU: You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and brokerage charges. These are not included in the product price or shipping cost and must be paid by you directly to the relevant authorities.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery if caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, strikes, lock-outs, labor disputes, epidemics, pandemics, governmental actions or restrictions, natural disasters, fire, flood, or shortages of materials or transportation.

In the event of Force Majeure, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. If the Force Majeure event continues for more than 30 days, either party may cancel the affected order without further liability to the other party.

Returns and Right of Withdrawal (for Consumers)

  • EU consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day you (or a third party indicated by you) receive the goods, without giving any reason.
  • To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly (e.g., by email to [your email address]) before the 14-day period expires.
  • You must return the goods to us at your own expense within 14 days of notifying us. The goods must be returned in their original condition, unused, undamaged, in the original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact.
  • We will refund the purchase price (excluding the original shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

  • Custom-made or personalized items manufactured according to your specific specifications.
  • Items that have been installed, modified, used on a motorcycle, or otherwise altered.
  • Goods that are clearly personalized or made to order.

Returns for Non-EU Customers

  • Non-EU customers may return unused and uninstalled items in original condition within 30 days of delivery, subject to our prior approval.
  • All returns require prior authorization (RMA number) via email. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned at your expense.
  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs, export customs fees (if any), and any risk of loss during return transport. We recommend using tracked and insured shipping.
  • Refunds will exclude the original shipping costs and any import duties or taxes already paid. A restocking fee of up to 15 % may apply for non-faulty returns at our discretion.

Faulty or Damaged Products (Warranty and Complaints)

  • All products come with the statutory 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects under Finnish/EU law (or applicable local law for non-EU customers).
  • If a product is faulty, damaged upon arrival, or not as described, contact us immediately with photos and your order number. We will arrange repair, replacement, or full refund (including reasonable return shipping costs within the EU) at no extra cost to you.
  • Claims must be made within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, and no later than 2 years from delivery.
  • We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation, or modifications made by the customer.

How to Return or Exchange Items

  1. Contact our customer service by email with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number if required.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include a copy of the invoice or order confirmation.
  4. Ship the return to: GB Custom Parts Oy, Ylätjoentie 7, 50770 Korpikoski, Finland (or the address provided with the RMA).
  5. Keep proof of shipping and tracking.

We inspect all returned items upon receipt. If the item does not meet the return conditions, we may refuse the refund or deduct reasonable costs.
